Meet The Team

 

Jonathan (Deck Manager/Instructor)

Jonathan has been coaching with Little Fish for 4+ years and is certified in Lifesaving, First Aid, and CPR. His ability to connect with reluctant swimmers makes him a great coach for all children. Jonathan has a special knack for relating to his students, who are won over by his playful approach to teaching. Jonathan’s students display a great confidence in the water and progress in their swimming ability.

Emma (Deck/Office Manager)

Emma has been working with Little Fish Swimming for 2+ years as a Deck Manager. She is both Lifeguard and CPR certified. She graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She is very personable and loves children.

 

Audrey (Deck Manager/Instructor)

Audrey began competitive swimming by the age of seven and was the leading swimmer for her club team as well as her high school team. She has received Honorable Mention All Area for Riverbend. She is certified in First Aid, CPR and Lifesaving, and brings a high level of expertise to those she is teaching. Her firm, but kind personality helps each child improve his/her swimming ability and gain a love for the water.


Ashley (Instructor/Office Manager)

Ashley has been coaching with Little Fish for 5+ years. She swam competitively for over nine years and has placed at the district level. Ashley is certified in Lifesaving, First Aid, and CPR. Her energetic and encouraging personality greatly helps students of all ages to love the water and to be passionate about swimming.

 

Emily (Instructor)

Emily has been swimming since she was 4 years old. Her love for kids is easy to see in her fun interaction style as an instructor. She has always been willing to help out with the younger kids on her swim team and because of this she has gained a lot of experience in teaching children about swimming.

 

Kristin (Instructor)

Kristin has been coaching for 2+ years and has worked with children all her life. She swam competitively on Riverbend’s highschool swim team along with the Regency Riptides year-round team. She is certified in Lifesaving, CPR/AED, and First Aid. Her love for kids, teaching, and swimming is apparent in all of her classes.

 

Karen (Instructor)

Karen has a heart for helping other people. She is very athletic and loves kids of all ages. She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Her kind and gentle personality helps children learn to feel comfortable being in the water.

 

Dani (Instructor)

Dani has been participating in swim team for 11 years and is both Lifeguard and CPR certified. She recently enjoyed substitute instructing for Little Fish Swimming so much that she has decided to join the regular team of Instructors. Her enthusiastic, bubbly personality and love for kids makes every swim class a fun adventure.

 

Scott (Instructor)

Scott is Lifeguard certified and VLC Scout Leadership certified. He is very athletic and has a lot of experience interacting with children. He has a heart for volunteering and helping others. Scott has a very fun personality and desires to challenge his students to become more confident swimmers.
